Love your books, etc. I am the primary caregiver for my 94-year-old mother, so you can imagine that we have both thoroughly enjoyed your writing. Several ladies in our church have studied your books, but my caregiving responsibilities have not allowed me much freedom lately. If you ever need “new material,” I am writing a blog about my experiences (www.hubpages.com/profile/pattyanne9). It’s not always pretty, but it’s definitely thought-provoking. My church, Cedar Creek Lake UM, is sponsoring a caregivers support group that has been inspirational and educational for us all. I will be referencing your books at the next meeting. Thanks again for your inspiration.

Pat, thanks for your comment and support. I appreciate you sharing my books with others. I hope you will join in the conversation on my Facebook page: Aging and Faith. I love hearing from “real” people who are in the trenches with loved ones who are dealing with the challenges of old age. Bless you for all you are doing as a caregiver!

  5. I saw you on GMA some time ago with Robin Roberts and her mother. My parents were still alive and life wasn’t too bad. My parents have now passed, and out of my need to connect and share my lessons I had just started my own blog when I again saw you mentioned on GMA. You are such an insperation and I am so thankful that I found you. Even though my time as advocate and caregiver are over, I feel a strong need to connect and I think I just found it. You are blessed, thank you.
